GRAB A BAG
Grown in the mountain region of Huila by various small farmers - this coffee shows off why Colombia has been known as THEE country for coffee by many across the globe. I first get a deep syrupy sweetness with notes of dark chocolate and vanilla. The heavy satisfying body makes way for a clean bright finish with notes of cherry and lime. It is excellent for milk drinks or for anybody who enjoys classic comfort coffees.
For those who enjoy learning about and discovering new coffees, you know that Pink Bourbon is a varietal that consistently produces clean and flavorful coffees. For those that don’t know - this is a great chance to learn. This is a clean coffee with notes of lime and cocoa with a slightly floral finish reminiscent of jasmine or rose hips. I also get a brightness and sweetness that reminds me of pink lemonade.
The most interesting and funky coffee that we currently available. This coffee is fermented for 96 hours in an anaerobic tank to bring out an effervescent brightness. I get notes of peach orange and honey. Despite its exotic flavor profile, this coffee has a surprisingly clean finish. Its excellent for pour over or iced coffee on a hot day.

About ten years ago I really started thinking about my coffee experiences. I started to understand that coffee can be so much more than just a cup of mud.
Coffee roasting started as a way to learn more about coffee, and to give me something to do while I was unemployed. Soon it became an obsession and a form of self expression.
The more I learned about coffee the more it made sense to me. From farm to process to shipping to roasting to brewing - each step is crucial to bring out the best in any given bean. That cup of coffee you make every morning has been touched by people all over the world. Coffee is such an important part of so many different cultures across the globe, and yet most people know very little about it.
AIKIB is my way to make single origin coffee fun and accessible without sacrificing on flavor or quality.
